World Trade Center Tower 3
John V. Dinan Associates worked with Tishman Construction on the World Trade Center Tower 3, located at 175 Greenwich Street. We provided pre construction surveys and progress photographs before and during construction.
The purposed structure will be a a 2.5-million-square-foot, 71-story tower. It will rise to 1,140 feet above street level, making it the third tallest building at the World Trade Center site. 175 Greenwich Street will have five retail levels - one on the ground floor, two below-grade levels, and two levels above the ground floor.
Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, the tower will consist of a central concrete core - steel encased in reinforced concrete - and be clad in an external structural steel frame. Building life safety systems are planned to exceed New York City building codes and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey requirements.
When the structure is completed, in the target year of 2012, the tower will be situated at the center of the various buildings around the memorial.
