Vibration Monitoring Plans
When vibration monitoring is required for a specific project there is often a need for a monitoring plan. John V. Dinan Associates prepares these plans for various types of projects. Depending on the requirements set forth for the project, the vibration monitoring plan may include the number of monitoring points required for the project, the location of each monitoring point, the instrument trigger level for each vibration monitor, the threshold limit value for each monitor, procedures to be taken should the monitoring level be exceeded, and plans indicating the locations, where the monitors shall be installed, as per our recommendation.
When John V. Dinan Associates prepares a vibration monitoring plan we make sure that it follows the requirements set forth by the New York City Department of Buildings, while also making sure that the plan is practical for the client. The vibration monitoring plan contains information on all of the steps that should be taken to avoid damage to the adjacent structures. These procedures are outlined in an organized plan according to the construction timeline of the specific project. If we have all the required information pertaining to the project, we can prepare a vibration monitoring plan in 1-2 days.
