Vibration Monitor Specifications

The Mini Mate Plus by Instatel Vibration Monitor System consists of a built in triaxial transducer, containing three high output, low distortion geophones located along orthogonal axes (vertical, longitudinal and transverse).

The Mini Mate Plus features include: complete in-the-field setup ability (no PC’s needed) microprocessor control, vector sum computations, time and data output, six record modes (single shot, continuous, strip chart, manual, programmed start/stop and auto reload) post event notes. While in monitoring mode, four individual component channels and one sound level channel are sequentially digitized at over 16,000 samples per second per channel for more compliance accuracy or high frequency blast performance analysis.

Information available from each event includes the following: the event number, current time, date, and event timer setting, Mini Mate Plus serial numbers, operator name, optional user component, peak values for each individual component, peak vector sum for the triaxial transducer package, peak sound level in decibels, and the range and threshold values for each channel. A maximum of 300 separate events can be stored in memory prior to being printed or sent through a RS/232 serial port. Any data in the memory is retained for over 6 months on battery backup.
