Audio / Video Documentation Surveys

As a supplement to our pre construction surveys John V. Dinan Associates also performs audio / video documentation surveys. Audio /video document surveys can be in listed in the job specifications for any project, but are most often required during state or other agency projects.

The audio /video documentation survey is completed by our senior inspectors who shall provide detailed commentary during the video survey. The survey shall include detailed footage of all visible conditions. The audio/video documentation survey is usually completed on the accessible exterior areas only, due to lighting and access issues, but if written permission is granted and the project requires an interior audio /video survey we shall accommodate the needs of the project.

The video shall include the date and time stamp on the screen. Once the audio /video documentation survey has been completed, a standard DVD is prepared for viewing purposes.
